Hi, I’m Juan, the founder of MEDi!
For over a five years, I worked closely with American clients in customer service and legal assistance roles — which taught me the value of clear communication, trust, and personalized support.
My journey into the world of medical travel began when I became the assistant to a highly respected plastic surgeon here in Medellín. He had a strong international patient base, and I was responsible for helping those clients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for during their time in Colombia. When he retired, I knew it was time to take everything I had learned and build something of my own.
That’s how MEDi was born — from the belief that medical care abroad can be both safe and exceptional when the right team is behind you. Even though I’m not a doctor myself, I’ve built this project from a service-first mindset, choosing only certified specialists and focusing on every detail that truly matters to the patient.
